They're natural authoritarians... which is ironic, considering they're constantly calling Trump and his supporters Nazis. Make no mistake: if they got their way, and Bernie Sanders became President, what we're going through right now during this global pandemic is how life would be all the time.
This is exactly what they want: government running people's lives, shutting down businesses, taking over industries. Sadly, it's probably part of the reason Trump's poll numbers have seen a bit of an uptick. I understand a lot of what's going on right now is probably necessary, but it's something I accept begrudgingly (and with the understanding that it will end soon)... it's not something I think people should revel in (like the lunatic in the video).
I obviously can't predict the future, but my feeling is that things will be mostly back to normal by mid-summer. There will be lasting economic damage that we'll probably be dealing with for years, and unemployment will skyrocket, but all of the other crazy shit that's going on right now will probably start to simmer down.
