You see, private citizens donated equipment to China almost two months ago before things got bad here, which is their right and as such was their choice which is none of anyone’s business but theirs, which the State Department facilitated the transportation thereof, and which USG was “prepared to” spend (not send) $100m to augment China’s fight against the outbreak, all in an attempt to prevent it from coming here (or at least slow it down).

As a nation we are a giving people . Sometimes to our detriment. It's not a bad sentiment but in todays world we need a lot more "America First Policy" which is not innately ingrained in a non homogeneous , "Balkanized" American society. Wish we had more people who loved this country as much as the Pedes here do. WE have to protect US first. If there is no USA there is no more free world.
