Partial quote by Secretary Pompeo:
“This week the State Department has facilitated the transportation of nearly 17.8 tons of donated medical supplies to the Chinese people, including masks, gowns, gauze, respirators, and other vital materials. These donations are a testament to the generosity of the American people.
Today, the United States government is announcing it is prepared to spend up to $100 million in existing funds to assist China and other impacted countries, both directly and through multilateral organizations, to contain and combat the novel coronavirus. This commitment – along with the hundreds of millions generously donated by the American private sector – demonstrates strong U.S. leadership in response to the outbreak.”

I 100% understand every bit of that. Maybe it's you who didn't understand the context behind my comment?
My point is that we shouldn't be sending anything, donating anything, giving anything, or "helping facilitate the transport of" anything to any other country IF our country is still in need of any of those things... Now if we are genuinely not in need of any of those particular things, and the data we have to go off of says that we won't be out of those things in the very near future, then I'm all for sending them wherever the hell you want to send them, all the way up to and including Chy-nuh.....
but I still can't for the life of me understand why we, as people or country, would be donating anyting to China right now, or really any other country for that matter, until we get our own hone/governors/states out of harm's way....
