Think you might be missing the point of The Messiah ?
I'm sure that this is either his glorified supernatural form or just poetic language, the next verse talks about a sword coming from his mouth so I'm leaning towards the latter.
Old Testament does compare Messiah with bronze though, in Daniel 10:5-6 and Ezekiel 40:3.
At the end of the day his skin color doesn't matter though. He didn't come for the olive-skinned people or the white-skinned people or the black-skinned people, he came for all of them.
