Links at end support what I wrote. Here is my opinion on why there is such reluctance to trying the malaria medicine on COVID-19. First and most obvious of course is the fact that President Trump is the one saying to try it. The drug companies want to get a vaccine for it and make a lot of money off of this and if a pill causes the outbreak to be less severe they will not benefit from it. This story probably starts back before Trump became president. Trump has been a little concerned that we vaccinate too much. According to some sources our kids get 72 doses of vaccines. The experts claim it is more like 13 and the way that some people come up with the 72 is by breaking down some of the vaccines they get. You can boost the count up to 72 and make it look scarier by counting the DTaP, MMR, and Tdap vaccines that contain several vaccines each, even though they aren’t available as individual vaccines anymore. When Trump became president he wanted to start a commission to study the safety of vaccines. He appointed Robert Kennedy Jr. to head this. Robert Kennedy Jr. had been a vocal voice of vaccine safety. When Trump tried to create this commission, Bill Gates stepped in to stop it. Bill Gates also had a vision where he would save all the children of the world by getting them vaccinated. To accomplish this he wasn’t going to just use his own money. Bill Gates started the Gates Foundation where companies and private citizens could contribute to help the cause. I looked but could not find where it gave a list of big donors but could not find it. I do imagine that most of them are big pharmacy companies. Bill Gates fought President Trump on forming that commission and won. He even brags about stopping Trump. Now the COVID-19 comes along and Bill Gates is again fighting President Trump on using the malaria drug to fight this. Bill Gates is more concerned about getting more money into his foundation than helping the people right now. I am not against vaccines and I know they are helpful but why would you fight to stop a study about how safe they are. Maybe we need to reduce some that we get and a study would be helpful since the pharmacy companies are not interest in reducing even some of this even if it is not good. All medicines have side effects we should at least investigate what is necessary and what is not. The malaria pill has been in use since 1950’s and I know for a fact every veteran from the Vietnam War took it for a year at least. I know because I was there. Bill Gates believes that America needs six to 10 weeks of “extreme shutdown” of regular life to get a handle on the new coronavirus outbreak (or COVID-19), contradicting comments from President Trump.
