They should be tried as mass murderers! Also, Sheriffs have the duty to defend our liberties. Federalist Papers 39 & 51. They have the authority to arrest elected Officials, up to and including the Governor. I just found this out yesterday from a fellow poster here.

Obviously, we haven't been availing ourselves of this remedy. We need to step it up!
