I think I hate those headlines more than anything else in modern media. It's such a blatant attempt to program readers rather than allow them to form their own opinions. I had a friend outright say to me that he likes those articles because "I know Trump is bad, but I don't always understand why until I read up". And the only place to 'read up', of course, is in a leftist rag.

"I know Trump is bad, but I don't always understand why until I read up"

AKA "I form my opinions first without any knowledge/information and then go searching for bullshit to confirm them after the fact."

Exactly. And this is a smart guy, too, at least on paper - he has a STEM masters and a good private sector job. The brainwashing at universities seems to pervade all subjects nowadays and a lot of people never question it for the rest of their lives, let alone break free.

Yeah, im really glad these briefings are getting such huge ratings. A lot of people are finally seeing him uncensored.

I think reporting is getting more like that because nowadays the modern media are catering to a shrinking audience, and a dumber audience - who are lazy and can't form their own opinions and are happy for somebody else to feed them an opinion.

Same reason I hate it. Journalism is meant to inform the reader with as little biases as possible and allow the reader to make up their own informed opinion.

Blogging really lead to the downfall of that style of journalism. Now there’s such a blurred line between blogging/opinion and true journalism.
