Funny thing about the Guardian (or Grauniad as it's nicknamed) is that 99% of the time, they are almost comically lefty and eye rollingly woke as Canada's CBC (Communist Broadcasting Corp) - or possibly more. the 1% they very VERY rarely poop out, possibly by sheer mistake a good investigative series. The PRISM spying scandal was 1 such time in the recent past.
It must have been when they had 1 good journo and maybe he wrote it and then got fired for being an actual journalist.
