The only good thing I heard from today was that Trump made the point that the longer this shutdown goes on the worse it's going to cause a spike in suicides, drug abuse deaths, depression, anxiety-related illnesses, and even more destroyed businesses. Many politicians wouldn't ever give a thought to any of that, and it's at least reassuring that he's got that in the front of his mind.
I’d hazard that politicians still won’t give a thought to that. They don’t give a fuck. They’re giddy at the opportunity to shut everything down and wreck the economy to blame it on Trump.
I feel for you..we just retired..haven't gotten a first check yet and we may have nothing left to draw from if this continues.
