New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is threatening to sue Rhode Island over its new coronavirus policy that calls for police to stop cars with New York license plates and has seen National Guard members go door-to-door to ask if anyone has arrived from the Empire State.

Rhode Island plans to send the National Guard out to knock door-to-door in an attempt to hunt down anyone who has arrived in the tiny state from New York City during the coronavirus pandemic. State police, meanwhile, have begun pulling over cars with New York state plates.

Gov. Gina Raimondo said anyone traveling there from New York will be ordered to undergo a 14-day quarantine and could face fines or even jail time if they’re found to not comply.

“Right now we have a pinpointed risk,” Raimondo said at a news conference Friday. “That risk is called New York City.”

Time to make popcorn and watch the democrats fight themselves on how NY isn't the plague spreader.

I think it might actually be a play for 2024. The two big candidates were or are are Gavin newsom and Cuomo as being the most electable. Newsome took the conservative approach and issued stay at home whereas Cuomo took the contrarian approach to Trump. The DNC either way has their bases covered and bets hedged. They will either way end up with a candidate that looks better.

He must want to spread the virus. No other rational explanation.
