Am I a dummy, or is this just going over people’s heads?
We a have cure. Why are we extending the “stay home” guidelines? Since we have a cure this virus is actually preferable to contract over influenza’s (the common flu) since we dont even have a cure for influenza.
I don’t get what the hubbub is all about.
Resources are finite. We dont want to be in a situation where we dont have enough of the treatment and scrambling to make more.
It isn’t preferable. It can permanently damage lungs, nervous system, kidneys, and your nuts. The reason for quarantine is that people are contagious from anywhere between 5 and outliers of 28 days with mean being 12-15 days. You can be completely asymptomatic during this time period. If we didn’t get large segments of the population to chill for a minute the amount of cases would have sky rocketed. The FDA approved HCQ and Zpac for compassionate use, once the media can’t hide the results, shit will open back up
We don't have a cure, but we may have effective therapies. We'll know better in a few days. They started the hydroxychloroquine/Zpak trial in NY several days ago with 1,100 patients, and I think it's a 5 day round of meds.
But why is it that we don't know the parameters of this trial? I've got a bad feeling they are skewing the number in NYC by only picking the sickest who are already in hospital and not blasting this to everyone that tests positive or even those awaiting results since hitting early, if it works, would lessen other potentially long term complications for survivors such as known lung and now today hearing potential heart damage. On the good side, Greece, S. Africa, and Belgium seem to be testing as well...
I agree with you on NY potentially manipulating results. Eventually truth will prevail as more people demand treatment and then tell their stories.
We don't have unlimited supplies of it and it can have some potentially bad effects (though that's true of anything). Best to make it so the minimum # of people need to access that cure.
I guess the Doctors and Scientists aren't sure if we have a cure or not.
Well it’s looking like the results are 99.9999%.
Sounds like one to me
I agree, but I am not the Doctor calling the shots, (pun intended).
What do you mean cure? If we had a cure we would not be shutting down our country for 2 months
So why would we not use the cure and open back up quicker?
There is no cure
Lol wut
There is no cure
