While no tech company is free of cuckoldry, I've always felt that Microsoft has kept their cuckery to a minimum. As opposed to Google which is basically social activism disguised as a search engine.

Well, Google was able to get away with releasing beta versions of everything and expecting the communities to finish everything off. "But it's open source guys, were really cool for that aren't we!"

Got to love it when my developer tools don't work well. There is a difference between releasing enterprise quality tools, where companies pay for big support contracts and expect things to work. And there is Google who releases shit in to the market that is half baked and just lets it limp along because it does the minimum they need it to do and the individuals using the products don't really have a voice. "it's free, so fuck me"

Delve sucks btw.

A fellow react-native dev here. How was your experience with Flutter?

Folks at my company bothering me a lot with that crap. I hate Dart with a passion so I've simply ignored it up till now, but I would like to hear from someone who actually tried it. I'd even consider Typescript react-native before Flutter.

Well said pede. At the end of the day, they are an advertising platform. Sure, they've developed some great tech in the process of making that. Google Earth, protobufs, Snappy compression algorithm, Tensor, etc... and have been nice enough to open source it.

But at the end of the day, they sell ads. That's where their money comes from.

All of these side projects don't make shit as far as money is concerned, so they understandably get diminishing attention and resources over time.

What I like about MS is support. Many of the products they sell have been around for decades and are still supported. To me, that's a huge deal. And it takes a massive corporation to deliver that support. Armies of engineers always there to make sure things work.

Again, they're still cucked. But they appear to be the least cucked to me, so I'll stick with them.

Google is as anti-American as any deranged far lefty commie faggot. They are basically r/redacted, r/chapotraphouse in big tech form.

For every little occasion for any little reason for anything woke, their front page has some specialized little graphic built into their logo. Except for US specific things. Labor Day, Memorial Day, Presidents Day, etc. They dont do anything. But over on Bing, its a full page celebration.

Yep, I stopped using Google search for a number of reasons, but one of them was that I didn't want to see that stupid woke Google Doodle every day. The things they were celebrating got more and more obscure by the day. It's as if they hired a team of people to troll us with stupid stuff like "The 128th birthday of the inventor of yarn". It made me cringe and I got tired of it, so I just stopped using them.

That's an initiative for a global ID. TBH, a Passport already functions in sort of this way.

That said, my statement stands: while MS definitely has some cuckoldry in them, they minimize it compared to other woke tech tyrants.
