To be fair there are probably a large number of low symptom people in that 58k who have no interest in taking drugs they don't need. Still if I was infected and had substantial symptoms you can bet I would be upset about someone blocking me from access to any of the three major treatments being discussed.
I'm definitely not in favor of forcing treatment on anyone who doesn't want it. The only problem is people who are infected can spread it. We don't actually know that much about it. Can you really spread it if you have NO symptoms? How long can you host the virus and continue to have no symptoms yet still be contagious? We don't know any of this.
On Trump pills, severely infected people cease having breathing problems in 2 days, and are usually virus-free free in 6. You can keep from spreading it like that. If you only have mild symptoms on Trump pills you might be virus-free in 2 days whereas without medication you might still be infecting people 30 days later. We'll never turn the corner like that.
Logically, if you have the virus in your system and it is multiplying inside you , you can spread it. The timelines are not yet set in statistical stone. .. But do remember that quinine is readily available in the form of Tonic Water at any grocery , supermarket, or bar. Just ask for bitters at the bar. And if you are not taking any other drugs you can get quinine from eating the white part of a grapefruit.

IIRC the five day trials finish on Tuesday, the same day the White House task force finalizes it's plans. Might be one hell of a news conference.

I am so glad. I have a cousin who is NYPD that tested positive. I want to see her get better as quickly as possible.
