OOOORRRRRRR - make this case precedent so anyone else in the country can claim sovereign immunity from any lawsuits or counter actions against another person - ie - Trump can now claim sovereign immunity and not go to trial for anymore things people try to sue him for. So, for example, Trump can claim Soveriegn Immunity and be President Forever. Who can stop him really, if Adam Schiff is accountable to nobody, then so is president trump.

I would love nothing more than for the row of demoncrat dominoes to start falling, and it might as well start with shifty. If nothing else comes out of Trump's presidency, it want this to happen.
I think it's in his best interest to do so. If he doesn't deal with it as president, what is going to happen when he's a civilian again? The deep state isn't going to just forget that he permanently set back their plan for 8 years.
I agree with you, I just have a hunch that when he finishes his second term, things will magically go back like before he decided to run. Everybody loved him. Famous star, billionaire etc. Might take 6-12 months, but once he is no longer in power, no one will care. Hopefully he'll just be left alone if he wants to be and go have fun for the rest of his life.

Sovereign immunity basically means that you can't sue the government without the government's consent, because (among other reasons) the party you are suing would also be the arbiter of the suit (the Judicial branch).
