You're seeing how they ask a question that they want to use to get a "gotcha" moment. They ALWAYS phrase it that way... "what do you say to the people who X?" ... "Some people are saying X, what do you say?" ... "An expert said X, how do you respond to that?"

They always phrase their questions like this. It's their attempt at making it sound like it's some unbiased, third-party query when it's really their own snarky, bullshit question that they desperately need to use to get a dig at the person they're asking.
