Think about this: during the Blitz, Londoners were being bombed every day. Sirens would go off, they'd take refuge in bomb shelters, when all was clear, they'd emerge, check the damage ("Oh, thank the Lord! My home is still standing!" Or, they just lost everything . . . ) Then they'd pick themselves up and go back to their jobs, shops, schools -- back to their lives! That's where the saying "Keep calm and carry on" comes from.

Now here we are panicking over what amounts to a bad flu that is only seriously dangerous to the same population that any flu endangers -- the elderly, immune compromised, and already ill. WTF is WRONG with us?!

It's a damn good thing WE don't have to take Okinawa or hold the line at the Bulge, forget undergoing daily bombings. We can't even handle a glorified cold!

And yet here you are. Believing that the majority of the country is panicking.

Reality check man. Almost every state is operating normally, and at most business like restaurants have to do nothing but takeout.

The only areas that are legit in trouble are leftist shitholes like NY CH and CA.

Everyone else is not losing any sleep.

Try not to let the most beta states in our union create the perception the whole country is in a panic ok
