Class act folding the flag. I would have wadded it up and shot it at the trash can like a basketball, then put up a Gadsden flag in its place.

Technically it's a collection of vassal-states, many of which were once legitimate nations, governed by a bureaucratic regime of degenerate, nihilistic, oligarchic pedophiles.

Regardless, yes, burn that shit. It was probably made in China anyway, so it'll go up like a grease fire.

nothegreatrefuser 21 points ago +21 / -0

There's something very final about the folding of the flag. I think just throwing it away would make this feel more emotional and rash, while the folding makes it at least appear as a rational and well-thought out choice.

This is exposing all kinds of economic fairy tales, and I've been loving every day of it.

Sure, perhaps it would have been nicer to see a correction without a deadly disease, but compared to other disasters that caused serious public introspection we're paying a very cheap price right now for motivating people to actually care about how our society functions.

18
Razeontherock 18 points ago +20 / -2

While I agree with your basic sentiment I challenge your notion of a "cheap price." Count how many businesses will never reopen just among our membership. Count how many more companies will outright fire most employees before 4/30. Count how many more businesses won't have declared anything officially by 5/1 but will be unable to operate until some future date, and then only at a very small scale.

Had we given Trump pills to everyone infected asap they'd all be virus-free free by now, and we'd never see numbers like we've got today. 31 million doses that were donated to the US are on their way. We can't afford to let Cuomo hoard all these too.

17
Bigus_Dickus 17 points ago +17 / -0

From a broader perspective it's as cheap as they get at this level.

1
PepesCovfefe 1 point ago +4 / -3

Culling of the heard is also important for individual businesses. Failing to have a 3-6 month emergency fund on the personal and business side is the absolute dumbest mistake you can possible make. Mistakes need to be held accountable. SBA loans are available for businesses at zero interest. We are all in agreement that this will blow over fast, so with even meager prior planning and capital asset restructures now, there’s no reason not to hang in there, unless they want to quit, or use it as an opportunity to do a blanket across the boards employee termination to get rid of a bunch of leaches that they previously couldn’t because of HR.

2
Razeontherock 2 points ago +3 / -1

Who's in agreement that "this will blow over fast?" Take off the blinders. They want us dead. Us and our children. Its not even an open secret. Its an open proclamation.

4
PepesCovfefe 4 points ago +5 / -1

They will lose.

2

Why not import endless hoards of 65IQ Africans? Right?

3
muslimporn 3 points ago +5 / -2

I'm not entirely sure the IQ is really that low when adjusting for other factors, especially diet and absolutely no conventional intellectual challenges in their lifestyle but I don't know to be frank.

Either way, no matter the cause, the people are stupid, uneducated. That's the material they're importing.

It's worse than that as many are also disrespectful. Ignoring migration rules and coming in with the notion its a right rather than a privilege to be allowed to settle a foreign nation.

7
WishdoctorsSong 7 points ago +7 / -0

Don't ever make the mistake of underestimating your enemy. Their stated objective has been to impose OWG (One World Government) whether by cooperation or by force. Bringing the US population to our knees has been what they've been working towards since 1913. The polarization of our society we've all seen has been because they've been growing impatient with us not collapsing despite their best efforts.

How will they attack? They already are. Waiting is now the wrong thing for us to do. D Governors refusing medicine to those infected can directly make this crisis something we can't recover from, and have a large majority forfeit all our liberties without a single shot being fired, in exchange for gibs.

If not in the immediate short term of before November, then $6T additional debt + more will bring it all down per the original plan of creating the Fed in 1913. They just call in the debt we can never pay. Our GDP would be completely inappropriate for our level of debt, and all our stuff are belong to them.

Same thing around the world. And then we're all serfs.

Only option is remove all D Governors, and I don't mean via the ballot box. I have strong evidence that my D Governor is silently following the precedent set by the 3 that have gone public with denying infected people medicine. Numbers around the Country say you're in the same position.

We need to avail ourselves of any legal remedy that exists and if there is none then go torches and pitchforks. Don't forget the rope. This is go time people. We can't create chaos though. The HCQ stash has to be divided up justly. D Governors have proven they can't be trusted with such an important task.

40 million doses of HCQ were not donated to the US so that they would be horded while the Nation collapses. The world is depending on US to do the right thing!

3
Tellsyouhow 3 points ago +3 / -0

The EU forbids all its countries from taking unilateral actions such as closing their borders. Countries who do it anyway face fines.

16
McFatty7 16 points ago +16 / -0

As long as the EU exists, I wonder if those countries' Prime Ministers will ever realize that they've been effectively downgraded to 'Governors' of their own country.

18
Razeontherock 18 points ago +18 / -0

Not even Governor. Strictly under der Fuhrer's authority!

2
Strike08 2 points ago +2 / -0

Then why the fuck can Belgium close its borders without issue.

22
tchouk 22 points ago +22 / -0

The EU is a union, which means they help each other, especially during the worst of times.

And what happened in practice? As soon as the first real crisis hit it was "fuck you, every country for itself, close the borders that aren't supposed to exist and you're not getting a single one of our masks"

And what about the EU bureaucrats that are in charge of the organization? Still talking about what should be done, and will continue to talk until the crisis is over, by which point it will be talk about who gets the money to deal with the aftermath, and it will continue to be a huge shitshow.

What is the point of being in a union like that? It's like being in a union with a whore gold-digger who will go out to suck dick as soon as you have a problem at work.

15
Razeontherock 15 points ago +15 / -0

On paper the idea of EU helping each other looked good.

In practice it's been the 4th Reich.

It'll be interesting to see the Fatherland try to extract money from Greece for failing to comply with der Fuhrer's strict orders to accept all invading illegal aliens. Greece is the main Country that never got proper reparations from Germany for WWII.

6
WishdoctorsSong 6 points ago +6 / -0

It only makes sense on paper if you think "Europe" is one culture and ignore the massive cultural diversity of many nations each with their own rich history. Just part of the overall globalist plan to erase the history of the west.

3
Razeontherock 3 points ago +3 / -0

On paper, cultural erasure wouldn't have initially been seen; otherwise the various member Countries wouldn't have signed on. N'cest pas?

4
WishdoctorsSong 4 points ago +4 / -0

Which goes back to how the EU was original sold as a trade deal to get people on board, and over decades morphed into the giant unelected bureaucracy that we know today. This is why the same Briitish demographic that initially voted to join the EU way back when were largely in favor of leaving: because they saw the EU grow into something completely different than what it was sold as in their lifetimes.

The EU is a giant cautionary tale into the globalist usage of creeping power of international bodies to take over nations over time. This is why Hillary loved to talk about her dream of a North American Union, and why we need the hell out of the UN.

3
Razeontherock 3 points ago +3 / -0

I can't argue with you when you're right!

Some of our military people say our domestic soil is crawling with blue helmets, other of our military people say it's minimal and they only ever do anything as joint operations with our own troops. I dunno, but we need all UN blue helmets off domestic soil! And get the US out of the UN. Immediately after WWII it was great for the rest of the world, generous of us, and we could afford it. Those days are long gone.

Some say pull out of NATO too. I say one step at a time. Pulling out of the UN would be a big shift, let's see how that goes first. Plus, we have nukes in Turkey which is a problem. There are probably other loose ends we'd need to take care of before we leave NATO?

11
handpeople 11 points ago +12 / -1

In part yes, they are pushing Italy and other members into the arms of China, making it hard to buy from the USA, and they get fake ass commie shit test kits because the EU makes it impossible to get good ones.

4

3
DearCow 3 points ago +3 / -0

I suppose with regard to 1). The citizen's power continuously decreasing as government's power increases.. 2). The citizen's access to their elected representatives. 3). The level of punishment a citizen receives if they oppose government in any way, from financial punishment up to potential execution. 4). The lack of freedom of each citizen as government dependence increases. The limitations on what type of work one can do, as well as travel, etc. The main character finds freedom only after inadvertently breaking all ties with the government, which in itself is terrifying in that one is entirely alone to face the dangers of life, (ie, no police, hospitals, no welfare etc.). 5). The pressure which government puts on one's community (friends, family), in order to bring the offending citizen into line, as we see in China's new Social rating system. If a friend helps the offender, the friend's credit rating drops. It's been about 30 years since I read it, but those are some things I recall.

“It seemed to K. as if at last those people had broken off all relations with him, and as if now in reality he were freer than he had ever been, and at liberty to wait here in this place usually forbidden to him as long as he desired, and had won a freedom such as hardly anybody else had ever succeeded in winning, and as if nobody could dare touch him or drive him away, or even speak to him, but — this conviction was at least equally as strong — as if at the same time there was nothing more senseless, more hopeless, than this freedom, this waiting, this inviolability.”

There has been a huge sea change and an uprush in pro-America sentiment in Puerto Rico since all this started. First, when the warehouses full of storm aid were discovered, Orange Man Bad scales fell from a lot of eyes. Then, seeing the skies darken (again) with planes bringing emergency supplies, which are being handled directly by US military without trusting it to the local politicians like last time (and the Navy sending corpsmen to set up overflow tents in our hospitals because our own Department of Health had none). Then seeing what the EU is doing to Italy while Trump is fully including us in the Federal stimulus checks has opened the rest of many eyes. One woman I know, who has always talked about revoking her American citizenship because she also has Spanish citizenship, said to me yesterday, "What a country! What a nation! I don't care what ANYONE says, Trump is the only leader I trust now and I am GRATEFUL to be an American!" Never have such words passed her lips before. If she even said "American" it was qualified with "citizen." I am hearing this everywhere now. "Thank God we are Americans!"
