I’m 90% Dewalt 20/60volt. I do use the Milwaukee 12volt tools though.
Milwaukee‘S 12v tools are lighter and fit my hand better for overhead and small work.
The Dewalt 20v and 60v tools are nice that they all use the same chargers and the 60v batteries can still be used in the 20v tools. The 120v (two 60v batteries) 12” compound miter saw is great. I do quite a bit of volunteer work and power is an issue. These come in quite handy.
Either brand will serve you well imho. I would figure out your needs first and then consider what tools you currently have.
