My whole life, I’ve been a San Francisco/Los Angeles Liberal Arts person with jobs that have shaggy rugs, and you bring your dog into work.

I’m the typical black rimmed liberal glasses person. You’d never expect me to be Conservative unless you saw me at home in my Kanye/Trump shirt.

I’ve always hated kids, and people who had them. But now that I’m redpilled, even going to Church sometimes, I feel like I’m kind of obligated to have one. Like if I don’t I did something bad. Los Angeles would be a crazy place to raise kids but people do it all the time.

Sometimes I think I’m not naturally conservative, but I am because of how crazy liberals are, so therefore it’s ok to not have one.

I do really like conservative values, but at the same time my lifestyle is so different. It’s odd.

We exist to have children. It’s a natural instinct to have kids, liberalism teaches you to deny nature and everything good and true. But find a good woman that is not liberal, get married and then have kids. There are good women out there that don’t care about money, that want a good strong husband. Church is a good place to start looking. I also recommend theartofmanliness.com

Humans aren't the same as animals. animals only insure the survival of their species and leave a legacy by reproducing. a single childless man can invent a cure and not only leave a legacy but also insure the survival of his species. Same goes for artists, authors, etc. I'm biased because I don't have and won't have children, yeah. but I'm pretty damn glad Beethoven and Louis Armstrong left music and inspired billions of people throughout time than just had a few kids and died.

If I may throw this into your equation: the foundation, the cornerstone of civilization is family.

I can see it in your post. The words are brimming with that holier than thou "Not having children makes me better, because the best people didn't have kids."

It's bullshit communist programming at it's finest. The cult of Veganism applied to abstaining from the meat of parenthood.

Nope, what makes me better is my willingness to accept I have no business having kids. Our divorce rates and mental health issues are deeply rooted in how fucked up the American family is. In part, it's because there's plenty of people having children who shouldn't be having children. Animal life is cyclical, has no variables other than be born and fulfill your role in the ecosystem. Humans aren't truly predators and they're not prey, so if one human reproduces it doesn't disrupt the ecosystem. Sure, you could look at it in terms of replacement rate, but even falling short of theoretical replacement, it'd be a long time before we could even classify ourselves as endangered. Hell, a 104 year old survived covid infection. Life spans are going up, so is quality of life. Replacement rate will be less of an issue going forward.

Overall, I was simply making a point, humans have other ways of preserving their species and leaving a legacy. Not pretending I'm Louis Armstrong, just thankful his life was what it was.
