Right now all the prophecies and predictions in the bible are beginning to fulfill themselves. But either way, at some point He will return, you best make yourself ready.
Yes, that's been said for the last ten heavily publicized rapture predictions. First of all Revelations (where a lot of these conditions come from) was written by an insane man dying in isolation in a jail cell. How the Church allows it to remain in canon is beyond me when they've excised books for less. Second, claiming to know when He will return is arguably a form of hubris, which is supposed to be a big no-no.
The Bible was written by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, it is a perfect work, the word of God. That's why nothing should be removed or added to the scriptures we have now.
A nice thought, but not how it works. The Catholic Church semi-regularly takes away or re-translates things. That's why there's multiple editions of the bible that aren't exactly the same.
"Surely this time the Messiah is really coming back!"
Every single person predicting an incoming rapture since fucking Constantine.
