Over the past year or so, my parents, specifically my mother, has taken a rooted interest in Q and seems to believe every little thing that’s gets posted on the Q-Anon website, no matter how vague it may be. Now don’t get me wrong... I do think that it’s entirely possible that some of what she says has some sort of truth to it. However, things have gotten more and more outlandish lately, and she seriously believes things like the government can manufacture hurricanes and that 5G is a set-up for mind control.

The problem is that she’s letting this stuff consume her everyday life. She spends countless hours scouring message boards and other random sites on a daily basis. She’s become unreasonable to talk to, and we’ve had numerous heated arguments over much of the content that she sees.

I’ve seen multiple people on here dismiss talks of Q as “fan fiction”, or state that it should not be relied upon. Does anybody have any sort of proof or evidence that I could use to finally prove to my parents that much of this stuff is not to be taken seriously?

Thanks!

Q is real, but it seems like she is falling for disinfo that is used by the gov to target weak-minded people (like flat earth and shit). This is less about proving her one way or the other about Q or her conspiracies, and more about her learning to keep her theories to herself. The best retort i have to people who act like this are to ask them to write a paper with CREDIBLE sources to convince me of her opinions. In trying to write the paper, she will deprogram herself- or allow you to dismantle the source of her brainwarp. Again, im like 90% sure q is real and am working on my own paper about it.
