She's popular in my town, but it's a pretty liberal place. The last statewide favorability rating I saw had her at 43/36, something like that. We had a full Republican state government prior to 2018, but the whole Flint water thing and the way it was racialized--plus lots of Orange Man Bad--was effective in getting her in. I think she's an empty-headed, stuffed doll who got elected because she was amazingly and bravely born with a vagina, but that's just me.
