God I remember when we used to have that deductibility, we were rolling with our restaurant in the mid-'80s with our customers, especially during the Holidays. As soon as they took away the exemption most sit down restaurants had trouble staying open for lunch and a much decreased Holiday/Banquet season with which we were no exception
