There'll be a study that shows it's not effective for people with ARDS on ventilators, and they'll say "see it doesn't work" even though your lungs are pretty much gone by that point and nothing will work.
I don't know that we have numbers for people recovering after being on a ventilator, or having developed ARDS. The whole point of treating people that are infected is preventing them from getting that bad in the first place. Which Trump pills do!
the point of the pill is to never get to a ventilator. There is no shortage of evidence that Trump has been supporting HCQ for a few weeks no, before or very close the beginning of Americans dying on ventilators.

Agreed! Although getting virus-free in 6 days helps too!
