40 million doses of HCQ have been donated to US. There is PLENTY to give to every person in all the following categories:
known to be infected now
infected now but don't know it yet (statistically about 48,000)
everybody that 48,000 will infect.
everybody already on HCQ long term.
With plenty left over for people to be trying it for preventative use that are:
healthcare workers
first responders
truck drivers. (They spread stuff around a lot on purpose. Don't want them infected!)
IOW we can beat this NOW!
In a week of repeating Cuomo's mistake, denying HCQ unless they're in the hospital and it's too fucking late to do them any good, we again won't have enough HCQ because cases quadruple in a week. And we can't expect the world to donate 100 million more doses to US. By the time ramped up production starts shipping, even the half billion we'll supposedly get before May won't be enough if we don't beat this NOW.
