Honestly it's the only way to ensure we aren't conquered ourselves. As weapons get more and more dangerous, the size of the world stays the same. It's time to make our move, before our military hegemony is completely eroded.
No way man. Our government only works for citizens who want it. Otherwise it will get rolled over quick.
We need to be a shining star, an example for the world. We become that by living up to our own values, and stop the globalist destruction of our country.
Uhm. I do believe that might have been very close to the original impetus behind globalism or what was sometimes called "internationalism". And look where that's gotten us.
Americans need to restore their liberties, put the government and especially bureaucracies back in the their proper place, and serve as an example to freedom loving people all over the world. Some assistance, moral support, O.K. But I don't think we can use military force or coercive power in the name of freedom with any credibility anymore.
The U.S. Constitution is not sacrosanct. It's only as good as the people who are supposed to be adhering to it. The United States does not even follow the U.S. Constitution anymore. We're supposed to be a limited Republic with the federal government playing an extremely small role.
The military can't be used for "nation building". Nearly 20 years later in Afghanistan and Iraq and they are the same old shit-holes controlled by warring tribal leaders. 12 years and 60k Americans dead in Vietnam accomplished nothing.
We need a non-interventionist policy so we don't get dragged into the world's unsolvable problems.
Maybe?
Globalism got us in this mess.
Oh like the UN? But followed our constitution?
