These are today's Win updates:
- adjusted the rising tab to no longer include actively stickied content, and a limit of 90 minutes rather than 120 minutes. This will hopefully help to bring attention to more high quality content that doesn't get stickied.
- added an icon to indicate users who have recently joined (we'll review the impact it has)
- fixed the remaining errors on login (let me know if you still encounter this)
- renamed NSFW toggle setting to more accurately reflect its function
- added a new report option: "Requires NSFW Tag" (reminder that you can mark your own posts as NSFW, but use this report option for other people's posts that need the tag)
- fixed issue where dark mode comment minimize bar was no longer dark
- fixed issue where points would not visually update when voting on comments on mobile
- updating of points when voting on comments on mobile
- updated Facebook/Twitter metatags
- fixed bracket inconsistency around comment scores

Site is looking great guys. I’m here pretty much all day right now as I’m on lockdown. When you upvote or downvote a comment all of the child comments in the chain will reflect the parent comments score until you reload the page.

NHL is the only hockey league that hasn't outright canceled their playoffs (yet). Keeping fingers crossed for Round 1 beginning in May!

the comments that stem from an original comment. For example your comment is a child of the comment you replied to, and mine is child of your comment. Think of a family tree and how it's drawn up. with each new generation line.
I love reading the child comments. There should be a place on here that focuses on the very best of child comments. Kinda like how great food is foodporn or the best designs are found at designporn, best artifacts are ar artifactporn, etc. I wonder what we should call the best child comments, I know! We should call it childpo...hang on Someone is banging on my door...
Good thought. Like ways to sort child comments by Top? I think it defaults to old and that’s the way it works on the other place too. I could be wrong on that though. I’m not sure if that would mess the conversation up but I don’t think it would.
Our comments are child comments of the OP's post (Original Poster who started the thread.)
Responses to our comments are "children" of our comments, and there is a little arrow thingy to hide/show the sometimes prolific lineage of verbal grandchildren those things can spawn.
I see that Our Mods have upgraded the way you can see that file-tree sort of structure, mouse-hovering over the blank area to the left <--- shows a grey bar thingy that helps connect which "child" comment is responding to what. (On my desktop computer setup anyway, I donno about phones/tablets)
