So... We are to still trust Sessions?

You are free to trust whoever you want. I personally do trust Sessions because I don’t think he is a pedophile and have seen zero evidence from the Sessions Haters that he is a pedophile. And I have not been provided any explanation for why a supposed pedophile would make a record amount of child trafficking arrests, break up and expose NXIVM, the Hollywood child sex slave cult, and shut down Back Page, a child porn and sex trafficking site. Any explanations why a super duper secret Deep State pedophile would do all of these things?

I think the more simple explanation is that Sessions got tricked by the Deep State into recusal because he didn’t yet understand that the Democrats were moving forward with a literal coup. And once he realized what happened, according to the insider stories I have read, he was greatly upset, apologized profusely, and immediately offered his resignation. Once neutralized, he then appointed Huber, Horowitz, and Durham and continued to clean up any and all criminal activity that he wasn’t recused from until Trump replaced him. And after leaving, Sessions has not behaved like any of the previous Deep Staters who went on to badmouth the President all over the corporate media before writing a gossipy “tell-all” book meant to undermine the administration. Sessions Haters also have no explanation for why he didn’t do what all the other Deep Staters did.

I also think the narrative is just stupid. Sessions was a solid patriot and reliable conservative throughout his time in Congress. Then he was one of the first people - and I believe the first public official - to endorse Trump. So what was the plan here? Keep Sessions deactivated for decades as a deep deep Deep State plant, just in the hopes that one day someone like Trump would run for office and they could activate him to endorse Trump early, all on the assumption that Trump would eventually choose him as Attorney General and he could recuse at a key moment? Because that is a mighty elaborate plan.

We saw the press conference where Sessions recused. We saw how it went down. He was asked what at first sounded like a theoretical question about the Russian Collusion investigation and whether or not Sessions would recuse. He answered yes - which was a MISTAKE - but in that moment it’s easy to see how he was caught off guard. Obviously the logic made sense: you were a part of the campaign, so how could you oversee an investigation into the campaign? Like, as fake as the FAKE NEWS is, that argument is actually logical. But what threw everyone off is nobody on our side knew they were plotting to turn that into a two year smear campaign. Early on, the whole idea of “Russian Collusion” sounded so absurd that nobody thought it was going to become such a big deal. A lot of us thought it was going to be something the media pushed for a few days, maybe a couple weeks, but would drop it because it was just so ridiculous. I think it is completely reasonable that Session had no idea he was recusing himself from a two year investigation and media hysteria, nor that “Russian Collusion” would extend out to essentially cover all the activity of the Deep State throughout the Obama administration. And anyone who thinks they saw that whole thing coming is kidding themselves. I think there were very few of us who thought, in November 2016, that we would still be talking about Russia Russia Russia three years later in 2019. I actually think it was Rush Limbaugh who first said, “Guys, this isn’t going away. This is the angle they have chosen. This is going to go on for MONTHS.” And I remember at the time how bizarre that sounded. Months?! How could they spin something so ridiculous out for MONTHS?! But Rush sensed it, and even Rush didn’t realize it wouldn’t just be months, but YEARS.

I think the more simple explanation is that Sessions got tricked by the Deep State into recus

It's simpler than that. They ALL knew it was a hoax paid for by Hillary Clinton. No one was going to sign that or touch it with a 10-foot pole, but they still wanted to catch the swamp in the act, for spying on Trump during the campaign as a private citizen.

Sessions recused precisely because he knew there was nothing to it. If he thought there was anything to it, he would have tried to put Trump behind bars with the Democrats. Instead, he recused so that he wouldn't have to participate in something he knew would only waste his time.

Sessions chose to recuse and IMMEDIATELY started an investigation into the FISA abuse, because he KNEW how toxic it was. Rosenstein is left with two options: Blow the whistle on Obama or go down with the ship and get caught with ALL of them.

When Trump says he caught the swamp, this is how he did it. And Trump knows Sessions won't be able to prosecute since he recused from the Russia investigation, he fires Sessions (privately on good terms, publicly he wants to create as much distance as possible, even endorsing his opponent) so that when Barr comes in he can prosecute on Durham's findings and literally nobody can accuse Barr or Trump of arresting political opponents, which they would have done with Sessions for sure.

Why did Sessions recuse? Because during the campaign Trump was tipped off that he was being spied on, and immediately switched campaign locations after Rogers' visit. Sessions recused because it was literally part of the plan and these brainlets would rather use buzzwords instead of putting any actual thought into anything.

Don’t forget about all the seals they’ve indicted too.

Absolutely not. President Trump endorsed Sessions' rival, Tommy Tuberville, for the senate seat Sessions vacated. POTUS also told Richard Shelby that he didn't want Sessions back in DC.
