You deflected pretty heavily. The Ann Coulter article (which I doubt you read) lays it out clearly, and directly contradicts your original statement about the Central Park rape. I find this to be a common trait of liberals. They make a point. We make a counter point that demolishes it. Then they say something like "well that's just an opinion" or "I'd rather not talk about it". I understand your life is a world apart from me/us, and the non-confrontational nature of Canadian and Japanese culture probably leads you to behave that way, but please be advised that stuff won't fly here.
There's a reason I own an electric car: because it's really the closest I can get to buying something that doesn't use coal or oil
I commend your commitment to the environment, we all wish we could do more. But until you put those solar panels on your roof, the electricity you use to charge your car will come from burning coal, unless you live in an area that is still connected to Japan's remaining nuke plants. They stupidly shut a bunch down.
The Trump fandom is among the more intelligent people I've met, and the number of shitty people in it is minuscule compared to what I see on the other side. I rarely meet a liberal who can put together a coherent thought without losing it. So yes, being in it does make one more enlightened, and most certainly not "woke", since that's never our goal.
Remember, the other side sympathizes with terrorists, we don't.
The other side sympathizes with drug cartels and human traffickers via open borders, we don't.
The other side believes in globalism over nationalism, and global "rights" over sovereignty, we don't.
The other side sympathizes with Communist Chinese propaganda, we don't.
The other side believes that people who are middle class or work with their hands are undeserving and subhuman, we don't.
The other side believes in placing the well being of illegal aliens over citizens, we don't.
The other side uses violence and riots to settle political differences, we don't.
So please understand, the "both sides do it" meme also doesn't fly here, because it's not true.

Be well.
