Shouldn’t have avoided American taxes by keeping their businesses offshore. Go to the countries where you do pay taxes because we don’t have enough for everyone as it is.
this is about rendering compassionate aid to the passengers (who should have been smart enough to not go on a cruise, but sometimes you need to protect people from themselves). i don't care if we seize the vessel and sell it for scrap - or better yet, convert it into a hospital ship for the upcoming war with china.
