A shortage of a medicine where hundreds of millions of doses are just given away for free to Africa every year. Doses that cost literal cents to make. There's no money in this particular drug, so big pharma wants to ignore it. There's no fucking shortage.
The shortage of this drug was finally reported on the FDA web site just 2-3 days ago.
Democrats have been chirping about it for over a week before.
The drug is a cheap salt basically, if a drug company can’t make millions a day then they should be ‘DP’d’ - Defense Productioned.
Worse than that, it works by helping
zinc get into the infected cells of the lungs - OMG, don't let the people find out that zinc treats colds and flu viruses! Cheap as dirt, and OTC!! Horrors!!!
The following video is from Laura Ingraham's show last night wherein infectious disease specialist Dr. Stephen Smith says hydroxychloroquine as a therapeutic is "the beginning of the end of the pandemic."

March 25th was the last death. This is completely opposite to the rise in cases which should have given them at least an equal rise in deaths.
They started using it on the 26th of February and it has been distributed widely. So not only is the reported spread amazingly linear instead of exponential, they also barely have any dead.
We should start visiting foreign news sites and use google translate (on thing google is actually good for) and screen grab articles like this, then blast away
The FDA has it listed on their web site as a shortage, it was put there on 3/31.
I still haven’t heard the nightly news talk about this or the recoveries. Just deaths and infections.
Enemy of the people indeed.
Maybe you remember hearing about doctors being blamed for hoarding, or patients only receiving hydroxychloroquine if they are criticality ill? Due to a shortage?
People have a different biology there, asshole? I bet you trip over yourself trying to get this drug if you catch CV. Downplay it some more, CTR shill.
Between the posts using superficial arguments (Chloroquine doesn't work! But Lupus patients need it!) and this one proclaiming a small middle eastern country has no deaths because they used hydroyxchloorquine, someone is doing a fantastic job.
You illustrate a good point. People are desperate for hope. This is why absurdly superficial arguments like these posts are being latched on to with such fervor and anger.
Should have already sent this stuff around the whole country. The Democrats are the reason, the crap keeps spreading.
It's a national disgrace! They keep saying there's a shortage of hydroxychloroquine, but don't say why or what's being done about it.
Why is America the only country with a shortage? Apparently the reason is unmentionable! Stinks

Gotta keep it going till November. It'd be really bad for them if Trump could actually manage to beat this thing
Maybe this is the wake-up call my state needs to turn Virginia Red Again!

This needs to be shouted from the roof tops.
The walls are closing in
An anonymous source familiar with the virus's thinking
How does it help as a therapeutic? Being relaxed stops the virus? Maybe less coughing and then less lung damage
It inhibits viral replication.

0 reported deaths in a week, cases have been slowly rising instead of exponentially but then again we have no idea how widely they are testing.
Edited for accuracy.
The link says 4 deaths. The question is did they die before treatment was available?

Why is America the only country with a drastic shortage of hydroxychloroquine??? Something stinks real bad.
Your comment is the only time / place Ive heard anyone say there is a shortage.

It's been confirmed at this point that it works. Now we're not allowed to use it, because the economic crash has not been devastating enough.
"Bahrain has recorded a total of 565 Covid-19 cases including four deaths and 337 recoveries."
Gulfnews. It has an impressive recovery rate on the number of cases it has. No doubt.

I'll take "Things that will never appear on /r/coronavirus" for $400, Alex.
Amazing! I have a Bahraini friend living in Canada with stage 3 TDS (meaning, there's hope). Please sauce me!
bahrain already has 4 deaths from the wuhan virus

That article is almost a week old, and the last death was reported on 2/25. The fact they haven’t had any since then is a good sign.
Random small middle-eastern country no one has heard of. I'm seriously enjoying this. Keep it up guys.
you've never heard of Bahrain? jesus look at a map you dunce
I’ve been watching them since last week when I read about them. Just because you are malinformed doesn’t mean everyone else is. https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/coronavirus/bahrain-hydroxychloroquine-success-response-covid-19?fbclid=IwAR2jPRQRoHjyIwbKMJ7FRYrRPHgwNW6KqPigTkUd73GNNAlpmcyYYuqZi68
