Incorrect modeling of potential deaths from bad data - by including conditions which cause many deaths every single day?

Another thing to keep your eye on is the number of normally occurring deaths. In PR following Maria, suddenly no one died of natural causes anymore because they were attributing everyone who died to the hurricane. Wouldn't surprise me if NYC is doing the same

That not the KEY STAT, however, the key stat is only 18 out of 1000 deaths {1.8 percent} and let's say the DEATH RATE is 2 percent, that would mean 2000 out of 100,000 people die BUT.......that would mean, according to this chart, that only like 35 people out of 100,000 are dying without UNDERLYING CONDITIONS, so of you are Healthy, basically you have almost ZERO CHANCE or .00 something a chance of dying, so shuting down the Economy makes NO SENSE.

All we had to do was quarantine the Elderly and people with UNDERLYING CONDITIONS !! Media HYPE drove this !!

It seems a number of people are using this chart to imply the deaths are being misreported. Where is the evidence for that? Of course everyone on this chart would have eventually died from something else, but there is no evidence (at least not presented here) that would have happened anytime soon.

All this chart really says is what Dr. Birks and Mike Pence have been saying all along, that older people with underlying health conditions are the ones most at risk from the virus.

My question is whether they just tested positive or actually had fluid filled lungs, or damage consistent with COVID-19.

If someone had terminal cancer and went into the hospital, tested positive for COVID-19 but had no underlying symptoms and then died. Do they consider cause of death cancer or COVID-19?

I do agree completely that this shows that those with one or more of the underlying conditions is more susceptible to death from COVID-19. I just want to make sure that the true cause of death is known.

One thing worth noting is that often when people are terminally ill they wind up dying of pneumonia or something like that. Pneumonia being a big cause. In those cases is pneumonia listed as the cause of death? I'm not sure but regardless to get the full picture of what is going on it is worth pointing out the real numbers of people dying from the disease that we wouldn't have lost anyway. And of course every death is a tragedy but with people starting to really panic and the economy going down we have to be clear headed here. Our president will be in a huge pickle if public opinion keeps buying into the notion that we must stay locked up indefinitely.

The staggering majority of covid deaths are among the very old and obese. Not to mention NYC won’t list what “underlying” conditions were present, ie. drug abusers, HIV+, smokers, drinkers, etc., etc.

Also queens is ground zero because of all the Chinese residents in and around flushing who have been passing the commie flu around since fucking January if not earlier.

We need to see deaths of those who didn’t die of coronavirus and compare to previous years. If precipitous drop then they are faking data and tagging every death as coronavirus.

Those pizzas Clinton sent to hospitals should be looked at and track their deaths too.

Is there reliable data on how many people die on a normal day in a given state from any cause. For example how many people died on April 1, 2019 in New York vs. April 1, 2020? I want to see that chart for every state.

Laura Ingraham interviewed a doctor last night that said his data is basically being ignored. That MANY of his patients who died of complications from the Wuhan Virus were also diabetic and MORBIDLY OBESE, most weighing in excess of 300 pounds. Let the young and healthy people go back to work and keep the vulnerable at home to be catered to!

1/5 deaths coming out of New York. Wonder if they'll ever punish the people in power. In less than a few months they flaunted all travel restrictions, basically installed a revolving door on court rooms, aided the spread of a disease and then followed that up by trampling on every human right on the books.

B-B-B-BUT I WAS TOLD (on here) 250,000 DEATHS!

I was called a SHILL for pointing out the potential shenanigans for this kind of "reporting"!

watch corona press briefing from 2 days ago. Trump himself said next 2 weeks are going to be terrible with at least 100.000 deaths according to Fauci.

You say it's all nonsense.

Let me just wait these 2 weeks and not risk it.
