The flu has an R0 of about 1.3. That means every infected person will infect 1.3 people on average.

R0 for the Wuhan Flu is estimated between 2-3.

Both numbers are estimations, but the Chinese virus numbers are speculative. It's hard to get solid numbers in the midst of the pandemic. We still don't have a grasp of asymptomatic case numbers.
