The left is spinning this that, 'So Trump wasn't targeted and there was no FBI bias against him. It was just a general laxity about FISA warrants.'

Which is the exact conclusion Horowitz wanted people to reach. He already officially cleared the FBI of bias against Trump; that was in his first report.

OK, so the FBI wasn't targeting Trump, they were just targeting the American people. I feel so much better now, and fully trust the FBI. Oh, wait, no, this just makes everything seem even swampier and deep-staty than it did before.

Wray needs to go, the sooner the better.

It is terribly disheartening that there is no one willing to rein in all the corruption and cheating.

I gave you an upvote because I agree 100% with what you say. And I wish I could give you another one for using "rein" correctly.

I’d be perfectly fine with putting most politicians in reigns, though

Sobering really. The government is in complete control. Whole world locked down in seconds. Rogue agencies doing whatever the fuck they want.

We can't even fucking assemble right now.

Make it a skinny, dirty, uncircumcised one that bends all weird and hurts... Hurts him bad, bigly

Careful China is listening. You don't want to give them any ideas!

13
the_bird 13 points ago +13 / -0

Yea. It's the almost criminal line that set it off for me. How many convicted felons will now have new trials or set free because they decided to flush the whole system to protect the few conspirators?

14
Thenew23rd 14 points ago +15 / -1

Probably none. Maybe I'm cynical but it seems like no matter how outrageous the FBI misconduct is, they get away with it.

1

Which is why I am certain they will pull this again. WHen there is no consequence it's basically permission.

4
DJTrump2020 4 points ago +4 / -0

Then spin it back around, "The FBI didn't target Trump with political bias, it just turns out that the organization as a whole is compromised and is unable to continue its mission, therefore it must be disbanded immediately". That's what I call a compromise, we give up individual prosecutions for the Trump Witch Hunt, the deepstate loses its entire arm of "law enforcement".

Thenew23rd 1 point ago +3 / -2

If only...

Dismantling the FBI would be a massive step toward justice.

Getting real tired of hearing these words from this fucking faggot IG:

“Mistake”

“Bungled”

“Errors”

It was a fucking coup, Whore-wits.

Getting real tired of hearing these words from this fucking faggot IG...

You know what? I'm fine with it* so long as we the people can use that in our defense.

Get popped for drunk driving? Well it was just a mistake, I made some errors and I'm going to have a thorough review of my bar-hopping procedures. Have a great day, judge!

* I'm not actually fine with it.

StarSpangledWanker 19 points ago +19 / -0

Of course the FBI abused the FISC. That is the WHOLE POINT of creating an unaccountable secret court. If the FBI was doing things according to law, they wouldn't need their own court to rubber stamp their illegal activities. By design, anything that requires FISA is otherwise illegal. It has to go.

Apathy is the attitude of weaklings and shills

7
Caferrell 7 points ago +8 / -1

Is it apathy when you realize that there is nothing that we the people can do to rein in the FBI and Justice Dept. ? Or is it the act of recognizing that there is nothing we can do to change things?

4
NotProgCensored 4 points ago +5 / -1

Stating the obvious isn't apathy.

Is APATHY faggot

3.5 years, zero arrests.

2
pmurTJdlanoD 2 points ago +3 / -1

Far smaller crimes take far longer to investigate and prosecute. This is quite possibly the biggest criminal organization ever developed in human history. Sure the initial arrests would be great to see, but this is a case where there can be no mistakes and must be done completely airtight. I'm hoping Durham is working hard under cover of this massive corona distraction.

Unless they're arresting Trump allies on fake charges, then it takes zero time. And Barr is okay with that. Can't forget that.

Personally I don't expect the guy who helped commit the Ruby Ridge massacre and is pushing for nationwide red flag laws to do anything to his close personal friends.

2
pmurTJdlanoD 2 points ago +2 / -0

Okay fair point. Thought experiment: What do you think President Trump's response is (say, in July) if Durham investigation and Barr's response is "nothing to see here folks" and it's swept under the rug?

0
americathegr888 0 points ago +1 / -1

I'm not sure there's much he can do at this point, unless he decides to stop paying attention to the media response and the "optics" of the situation. If he did, though, he could probably shitcan Barr and start making arrests pretty quickly, as long as whoever he picked next isn't another one with a long Deep Stater history.

1
pmurTJdlanoD 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who can he nominate at this point that would make it through Senate confirmation?

0
VoterIDMatters 0 points ago +1 / -1

WRONG

Zero HIGH-LEVEL arrests.

How long do you think it takes to legally upend a totally corrupt, entrenched bureaucracy?

Take your apathetic beginning and stuff it up your faggot ass.

Do you think Trump can do it?

If not, GTFO

3
ZacPetkanas 3 points ago +3 / -0

Apathy is the attitude of weaklings and shills

OK. We all see the problem and we elected the best person to handle it. Since nobody has been held responsible since inauguration day what is your practical proposal?

And by the way, I don't consider federal employees who violate the law and only lose their pension being "held responsible."

2
amilbarge00 2 points ago +2 / -0

Agreed.

indictments?

1
midgetpornrocks 1 point ago +1 / -0

Seriously. This isn't news. We've known this. So what is the DOJ going to do next? That's the real question.

2
ZacPetkanas 2 points ago +2 / -0

Only 0.03% of FISA warrant applications are rejected by the court. It's clearly non-functional when it comes to protection of our rights and should be disbanded. The courts are just rubber-stamping these things and providing the FBI with cover for spying on us.

"The rank and file is full of good dedicated patriotic Americans." Never mind the fact that it is leadership that is responsible for hiring and retaining rank and file. Whom do you think gets hired and stays? Those that are amenable to leadership.

Everything will be buried by the Kung Flu just like it was suppose to. Justice for thee but not for me. It's a big club and you and I aren't in it - Kudos to George Carlin.

1
Induceddrag 1 point ago +1 / -0

It’s a trend with DOJ entities. Don’t do it right, do it fast. GPS tracking devices, Stingray cellular devices, National Security Letters, now FISA.
