Terrifying content. We need to face this head on. I hope the obvious need to bring pharmaceutical manufacturing back home will spearhead a move to bring all manufacturing back home.

People won’t work for a Chinese wage

The wages gap is not the main issue. It’s also a regulatory issues, regulatory costs, etc. We have found that some drugs can be made here for less. But that is not most important point:

  • Supply. We need to control and diversify supply chain to insure supply, especially in times of stress. Like now.

  • Quality. We need to have control of oversight, inspections, content quality control. China drugs have too often failed specs and even contained poisons. Right now the FDA has suspended inspections in China for health reasons. So now there is no oversight there at all.

  • Trust. We need to trust our health industry. We will never be able to trust the CCP, their word, work, motivation, etc.

  • The Potential for Blackmail. Whoever controls the production of medicine controls the world.

You’re advocating for more oversight and government intervention. 🤔

Over medicine efficacy and safety? Of course I am. But I also trust the US over the CCP when it comes to oversight.

Name calling is your final word?

You have missed the point of this post. The “free market” is what resulted in our companies sending drug manufacturing overseas to China.

Consider watching the entire video before throwing more labels at people.

Problem is the factory owners focus on profits and pay the Chinese a shitty wage. No American will work for that. Riddle me this Batman...
