I agree - this would be a bad precedent to set. Better to find a way to get the "committee" more balanced, or to have another way they are chosen (only so many per region of the country?) I am hoping he will give OAN direct interviews himself and come up with new ways to present Q&A formats for public discussion that do not go through the pipe of the MSM.

If you recall, President Trump revoked Jim Acosta's press pass for misbehavior. A federal judge ruled that Acosta had to be allowed back into the press briefings.
That was when Trump canceled daily briefings. He didn't resume until the WuFlu required reliable updates.
so cancel them again and do a different type of daily briefing. I don't think there's anything in the Constitution requiring him to do daily briefings in a certain way. go to a different than you and hold the exact same thing as a daily briefing only call it something else. And only allow in outlets that you like..
I mean he can do that as well but it's also important to have a press pool asking multiple different questions about the whole hand virus. it allows you to give an interview to multiple outlets all at once and that raises the profile of what you saying.

Best, imo, would be for POTUS to give OAN personal interviews. Raise their profile while getting the truth out.
