Two things Congress does that are almost always bullshit. First is these bogus, reactionary committees. They can't direct, they're not executive. All this comittee will do is send our money to generate reports that say "Orange Man Bad". Second thing is when they subpoena people in to testify before congress. They pick bad guy of the month, force them to testify before Congress - which is a few hours if the representatives making statements, camouflaged as questions - as they berate the "bad guy" for hours.
Trump told them to fuck right off with the creation of an Office of the Inspector General to oversee the distribution of funds. This is the response - more petty and unproductive bullshit.
