You can at least thank your lucky stars that your gen has never been drafted, never seen a hot war, never saw the great depression, never got indoctrinated by the commies as bad as they did in the 50's and then again in the 70's, you recieved at least some education unlike younger generations that are taught how to be dumb cogs through no child left behind and commie takeover, you didn't get duped into a feminism degree, you were never targeted as a generation to sell crack cocaine to like they were in the 80's, and you have enough time left in your life to see some real winning.

Cheer up, pede. We've all been shat on.

I think you missed my point, which is that I don't see any ONE PARTICULAR generation that is more fucked than the others.

OP felt that their generation was particularly unlucky and especially shat on. My point to them is that we have ALL been shat on.

I hope that clears it up for you.

We’ve been at war with Afghanistan for a long time, but it gets ignored by our media.

My mother in law had to do duck and cover exercises for in case of nuclear bomb attack, and wear a dosimeter to school. The depression left them so poor she once ate 'sawdust soup'. Her best friend had polio and was crippled from it. She gave birth to one of her kids alone because her husband was off to war and didn't meet his own kid till they were 2. They watched the prez get shot. Her cousin took one hit of lsd and ended up in a catatonic state for almost a decade. And she lost a child to hard drugs. She is still full of sunshine and peace, despite the grief that comes with life. But hey. Whatchagonnado.

Everybody can feel like a victim when theyre under a lot of stress, and this has been a lot of stress. I personally have nearly lost my appetite. Nearly.

Your mother in law sounds super-based. I hope she keeps it up. :)

Democrats did not used to be as completely bat-shit crazy as they are in recent years. Maybe she will leave the party, or maybe she will be part of the solution to pull the party back from the brink of insanity.

Tough times create strong men.

Strong men create good times.

Good times create weak men.

Weak men create tough times.

We're just going through the cycle. 2008 - 2016 was dominated by weak men who bowed to our enemies and set us up to fail. We are the strength that emerges from the darkness. We shall create a stronger world for our children.

Above all, we shall prevail. Above all else, we shall prevail.

Its all a scam . This is TDS at its peak. The Dems are literally still crying about 2016 bc she wasnt suppose to lose. And everything they have tried since then has failed. SO they continue their temper tantrums.(see hollyweirdo pedos screaming for another impeachment). Remember they called for a recession if it meant they could get rid of Trump. The dems work with china and they own the media. This is a coordinated attack on The USA because we were getting too strong for the globalists. The democrat own media along with the dems are responsible for this. Sure theres a virus, corna virus has been around for decades but this was an attack from within to shut down Trumps roaring America. They hate The USA. They want globalism. Trump and his supporters are in their way still.

This is a unique Timeline, you will look back on this and be amazed. A very old Enemy, who had tentacles in all government and commercial doings all over the globe, is being confronted. Yeah there is much we are not being told, the media has in fact lied to you all your Life.

POTUS is waging a tremendous battle against far more than just a virus. Know that this is part of an intricate Plan to destroy the Deep State actors all over the world.

Yesterday POTUS had the military tell us about some actions concerning Venezuela. That is because they were part of a larger global corruption, and POTUS is actively waging war against them. That's just one 'other' aspect of the larger fight.

Know thatr Patriots are now, finally and after 3 years of hard work by POTUS, Patriots are finally in control in America. But the Enemy is still strong, the Enemy is being taken down RIGHT NOW, as we post.

The Enemy fights back - virus, immigration wars, riots, false flag shoots or bombings...they will do what they can in the coming weeks. Financial collapse and millions dead do not trouble the Enemy at all, it had bigger plans actually anyhow.

Know that POTUS is executing a well planned operation to destroy them all, the Plan is working and we are roughly on schedule.

Let your Faith be stronger than your fear, we are winning.

Pandemic? Check out Spanish flu 1918. Killed 520,000 Americans. And they all had to get up and go to work. Nobody hid in their homes under order of their governor.

As civilian infection rates climbed day by day, Krusen refused to cancel the upcoming Liberty Loan parade scheduled for September 28. Infectious disease experts warned Krusen that the parade, which was expected to attract several hundred thousand Philadelphians, would be “a ready-made inflammable mass for a conflagration.”

Just 72 hours after the parade, all 31 of Philadelphia’s hospitals were full and 2,600 people were dead by the end of the week.

vs

John Poyer, the governor of American Samoa, heard the news of the risk from this disease and immediately took steps to coordinate ships from the U.S. mainland to assist with what was expected to be a dramatic outbreak. His strategy was to quarantine anyone with the disease on the Navy ships, with the goal of isolating the problem.

He was successful. Not a single person in American Samoa died of the Spanish flu, one of just a few areas in the world where that could be said.

You're right to feel angry. I am older than you (48), but my economic path since 9/11 has been more like a typical Millennial than a GenXer (I avoided student debt because I served in the Army and went to state college for free with a GI college fund - but I more than made up for that by being forced to take on soul-crushing credit card debt to survive some rough times these past 10 years).

Life is suffering; bear the burden and overcome it.

I understand what you are saying though. Luckily for you, you have Trump, and his administration continues to do everything they can to relay the foundation of America and as a result, lift many of the current burdens and minimize the catastrophe of any future events

God Bless you! Realize the big picture: the true financial elite want to rule the world with one government. This is their attempt to implement that. Since 1913 it's always been about bringing the US population to our knees so that we'd forfeit all liberty, rights, and national sovereignty for gibs.

Wish I had some magic words. Here’s how I’m living: Stay strong, physically and mentally. It’s tough. Lean on others when you need to, and be there for them to lean on. Be angry, but don’t be stupid. Keep your powder dry and be ready to fight with Hell’s fury when this is over.

Even as a individual person stress turned inside will kill you but if you take that stress and push it forward we will create strong times. For the past 20 years we prob lived in the easiest time period ever. A little hardship will make us stronger don’t wimp about it like the media wants you to do!

Welcome to childhood. The World War is finally over.

Welcome to childhood 2 months later. Your parents are dead from some disease that made them cough up blood and turn blue.

Welcome to adolescence. Orphanage. Jobs market for younger kids are pretty good. But your growing hands are quickly diminishing your labor value. The Great Depression. Here's some Dandelion Salad.

Welcome to adulthood. Things are looking up! Jobs are finally coming back, but there is some guy in Germany making a ruckus.

Welcome to parenthood: Remember that War to end all Wars that happened when you were a little kid?

Welcome to the afterlife: Some people are complaining on the instantaneous world-wide communication and knowledge network about how tough their lives were when they were growing up.

I'm probably about your age. Step out of your own shoes for a second and get some perspective. The world, particularly the US, is the best it has ever been anywhere at any time period. This is a fact. We didn't have a world war 1 and 2, we didn't have a great depression or a 4 term president with dictatorial aspirations, we didn't have a bubonic plague, people aren't hanged for petty theft, amputation doesn't carry a significant risk of death, you're not getting conscripted, slavery is illegal, the river will not catch fire, the roman legion isn't coming to rape our women.

So calm the fuck down and quit feeling sorry for yourself. Our generation hasn't gotten curb stomped, our generation had had hurdles at best, you and I have it better than anyone ever in the world, even kings from a hundred years ago, and if you become strong your children will have it better.

There is something we aren't being told. The virus is real but that's not all that's going on.

Huge unexpected events like this tend to rearrange the grand chessboard a bit. There are entities taking advantage of this, in fact, taking advantage of anything and everything is the status quo, how could it not be.

China is vying for power during this. Small regional powers are doing the same. What we are seeing right now under the guise of dealing with the virus is some small scale proxy and economic conflict going on. That's what yesterdays Cartel fighting announcement is about, that's what the Maduro indictment is about, there's a lot of strategic chessboard shit going on right now as a result of this virus.

Happy to let you vent. Three kids under 6! You are doing the good work of parenting. Remember that making sure they know they are loved is key. And in these difficult times, messages like “ we all stick together and help each other” make kids feel secure. God bless you! I hope you have a MAGA day!

Baby boomers were also sold the bill of goods that 'College was the answer.' We rebelled more. It amazes me how much bs your generation has swallowed.

Fighting between generations is dumb. Each has much to offer.

I only feel it will get worse.

The World War 2 generation were SAVERS. Not big borrowers and not stock market speculators. Their children benefited because of that.

Some Americans barely felt the Great Depression because they were so self-sufficient. If you want your children to be equipped to deal with whatever comes at them, they should know how to grow food, harvest it, preserve it, know animal husbandry, basic first aid, know how to make / mend their own clothes, know how to live without automatic power, know how to do cost / benefit analysis, know how to calculate exponential growth, etc. I'll wager that is a far greater legacy to leave them than a Gender Studies degree.
