It's far past the time to stop treating these people as "slimy politicians" or thinking we can meet them somewhere in the middle. These people are enemies of the republic, they are treasonous criminals that will do anything it takes to keep the criminal enterprise that has been allowed to take over the American government alive. That means they have no good will, they don't want the same thing by different means, they want opposite things through opposite means. We need to hit back and bare minimum prosecute clear and blatant violations of the law REGARDLESS of who they are or what kind of influence they wield. When we let McCabe and Comey off the hook, when we don't do shit about spygate, an attempted coup, murder of dissidents like seth rich, etc, we aren't playing 4D chess. We are emboldening them and you know what, one of these days they will get a lucky break and they will frame Trump just well enough that they succeed.
