This is so true. I have actually found myself getting pissed off at celebrities. I don't give a morsel of a shit what they think right now. My 76 year old Mom is in the hospital with Wuhan Chinese Virus, and she has been in the hospital since March 21. I am thankful to the My Pillow founder and his workers. They are making a difference, and these celebrities need to shut up for once.
I started really loathing celebrities during the GWB administration when they started in on the Tuff Guy act (we're all moving to Canada! bush is hitler [how original]) but they've gone literally insane under Trump and the one silver lining in the Times Of The Virus is the entire nation & world have awakened en masse to their complete irrelevance, driving them even further insane. I have YET to hear/read a single HINT of sympathy - let alone empathy (or even a whiff of solidarity) from these self-appointed royalty slime with us, the Unwashed Masses throughout all this, further widening the gap of mutual contempt.
I think it's blatantly obvious to everyone now they're all irrevocably detached from reality, not to mention mentally ill. Which is why the genuine articles stand out so well - though I'm not a fan of his humor Larry the Cable Guy has always maintained his humility - most recently righteously slamming these delusional freaks with their pathetic "Imagine" sing-along from their gilded mansions; Dolly Parton is doing her part to soothe the anxiety of her loyal fan base (and I just read contributed $1 million to vaccine research, etc). I'm liking Mike Lindell more and more with each passing day - a true hero.
The self-sabotage that HollyWeird hasn't fully accomplished yet with their insufferable virtue-signalling on and off screen is now being completed by everyone avoiding theaters & being more selective with what to watch at home and I understand the studios are now really hemorrhaging money. Gee, that's too bad.
I wish you the sincerest of luck with your mother and her tribulations (and you & the family as well); those with strong constitutions seem to fare well - my 86 y/o dad at the nursing home is strong as an ox but the dreaded FLU is racing through that sealed-off place like literal wildfire - the staff & the residents are sealed in together and inevitably give it to each other - but dad said it's starting to burn itself out.

Prayers for your Mom.
