That one older medical lady talking at the podium at the presser today said that there was no vaccine and no treatment. Huh? She didn't even acknowledge it as a treatment. I know she used a different word than treatment, but I can't remember what it was. Alleviation, maybe? What ever word it was, I was like, what??
SPEZ: Found it, she said "I know we don't have a vaccine. And I know we don't have a therapeutic."
A vaccine is placing antibodies in place and is a preventive measure.
A therapeutic is a treatment option that has shown to resolve the malady.
I haven’t caught today’s conference, some of these scientists might be being very technical and precise, even to a fault. Acknowledging the effectiveness of HQZ + zPaxk + Zinc is not meeting a technical threshold and framework of how these scientists want to answer the question.
If you ask someone that has a lifetime of experience in a given field, a general question should be seen as such and answered accordingly. But, the stakes are pretty high and they don’t have enough data (or balls?) to make a general statement.
And as soon as they even hint at supporting what the President said, the anti American press chimes in with “well, that’s not true!!! We don’t have the 12 year study completed to prove such a thing! Once again, more lies! REE!”
