The lab in Wuhan, the virology one, is a BSL-4 facility, one where they are sanctioned to do this kind of work. They have also done bioengineering in that lab of coronavirus strains by mixing them and have done papers that admitted the strains they worked on are transferrable from human to human.

So yeah it's a bioweapon. I personally did a bit of searching (20 minutes on Wikipedia woop woop) and came to that conclusion. There's no other explanation. I actually think China was making it then going to release it during the Olympics in Tokyo, but it got out. Explains their blatant cover up of it.
