Troop movements are classified for a reason. He knew better and deserves this and more.

No excuse for either thing. The fact that if he had concerns and he didn't consult with the fleet commander who was on the ship is insane. Nevermind at least consulting with his XO as well.

This was a political stunt. He has an out and CNN career or congressional run already lined up. The cheering for him on the ship as he left was a poor indication of the "leadership" of that boat. Every one of those sailors is suspect. My guess is its a free-for-all on there.

I'm not sure how many people realize how many crappy people simply join the military for the gibs.

This was a coordinated political stunt. He didn't consult with his commander, who was on the ship, or his XO. I wonder if he's got a congressional run or CNN gig lined up. He looks like a slimy puke.

Seeing those cheering sailors (not following 'social distancing') indicates to me that it's a free-for-all on that ship, wholly lacking any discipline. I'm not sure how many folks realize how many crappy people join the military just for the gibs.

Wait, his fleet commander was on the ship and he didn't pass it by him? I'm guessing they must've at least verbally talking about it and he was told to shut up and do his job (informally).
