Just before the petulant Obama left office he put national elections under the oversight of DHS. He said safeguarding our national elections was matter of National Security.
I am sure he thought they would quickly overthrow President Trump and from then on the weaponized Homeland Security would "take care of elections" and freedom and liberty would never see the light of day again.
So all President Trump has to do is write an executive order for picture ID requirement to participate in a National election, that or order Homeland Security to do it.
And President Trump is right, show up and vote proudly in person - it is a privileged and a responsibility.
