From what I remember, basically every single "voter ID" law that has been shot down in the past already had provisions to ensure poor people could get it for free. They still get shot down for some reason. We are basically one of, if not the ONLY first-world country that DOESN'T have voter ID laws protecting our elections. Even all the countries that democrats love to idolize for various reasons have voter ID. But of course, that is one of the only things they DON'T want to emulate about those countries.
Which sucks. I bet Obama vetoed it when the GOP had majority, but it wouldn't surprise me if some RINO's fucked shit up to get some sweet sweet ball sweat from some rich asshole that wants to keep his guys in power.
