False: Most likely they are decreasing drastically because people are social distancing and our economy is shut down. These actions are affecting other virus and the common cold as well.
Edit: I've been fact checked, apparently it's because it's all a hoax and the jooosssish space lizards have hacked into all the doctors brains!
Looking at the timeline, 1st or 2nd week of this year is when it really started to pull away from the norm; that's before social distancing. You're right that ultimately social distancing should lead to less deaths from other contagious viruses but dead wrong to say it's false that many deaths are inaccurately attributed to Chinavirus
i said the same thing. i dont know why you got downvoted here. its good to look at all possibilites. sometimes conservatives are just as consumed with confirmation bias as leftists. the answer is we MAY be falsely reporting corona virus deaths.....whether because of malice or stupidity who knows, but we also have to entertain the idea that the quarantine and social distancing have lowered the flu and pneumonia death rates
We may never get accurate figures. Just as the polling business stopped being about accuracy and became creating and reinforcing the narrative, cause of death has been largely politicized
To be honest, cause of death has been largely politicized since the government forbade the use of terms such as "old age" or "natural causes" on death certificates some time in the thirties. Doctors are also discouraged from using terms of system failure rather than conditions which led to the failure. For example, rather than "cardiac arrest" they should put "heart disease" because technically cardiac arrest just means their heart stopped and doesn't say WHY their heart stopped.
Though the goal was to gather more pertinent data regarding which conditions leading to death should be prioritized for concern, the ultimate result has been to completely remove the factor of old age from raw numbers and therefor overstate the importance of age-related conditions.
So, all of a sudden the United States has a "heart disease epidemic" and a "cancer epidemic" and everyone thinks it's massively important to change our diets and oh so unhealthy lifestyles simply because these are the two most common side-effects of living past 70.
The truth of the matter is that the leading cause of death in the USA is old age by miles, but that doesn't motivate people to spend trillions of dollars on various "health" fads every year.
What IS accurate and can't be hidden are the total dead per week compared to previous years. Mortality data is release from all states and most countries about every 2 weeks and so far things are looking like less people are dying in general compared to previous years, even Italy and NY.
Expect a youtube documentary on the mortality statistics in a few months, I know a guy working on it.
Appreciate the info! I have read that pneumonia and bronchitis deaths are being recorded as WuFlu. It will probably take a while to sort it all out. But it will be very interesting.
There can be only ONE viral respiratory infection!!! All coughs are corona coughs. Pay no attention to the fact that, of the more than one million likely cases actually tested in the US, 82% of them tested negative. Coronavirus is the deadliest virus in the history of the world. If a person dies from viral pneumonia, it must have been coronavirus, no testing necessary.
Quote "the good news is we are seeing a significant decrease in the flu because of social distancing". Have to think about that for a moment (not really).
That is part of the picture, for sure, but it doesn’t explain why NY city had over 500 deaths in one day when on a erage they have about 150. Those weren’t all people that would have died from flu or pneumonia or whatever else you can throw in there. There are more people dying than normal so it is something to take seriously.
Just asking a question here but if 5000 elderly die of COVID-19, doesn't that mean that there are 5000 less people who could die from the common flu? I know some of you mean well but sometimes a dimwit is just a dimwit.
That’s the point. People dying from flu/pneumonia are being classified under covid. The cdc doesn’t require a positive test for the death to be classified as covid, just assumption based on symptoms
One of two things. They are either classifying Wuhan Flu deaths as regular flu OR people who would normally die of flu are getting Wuhan Flu thus dying from that as opposed to the normal flu.
Probably a combination of the two, though. I'm sure you'll find the same thing with other charts such as skydiving deaths, motor vehicle deaths, etc.
This is much worse then I expected. I assumed a little over reporting of covid19 deaths, not this much. And other countries are doing the opposite because the media there likes their leader. Can we get this for other countries that have conservative leaders. I bet this issue is world wide.
I looked through the data from the image and it appears to be spot on--look into the data in the csv file from the cdc, and it's all right there, the graph is simply a plotting of the points from the data.
Most likely they are being classified as covid19 deaths
Every death is a China virus death now. That's how the 'science' works.
Test positive for China virus? Yes? Dead? Yes? You died of China virus.
Test positive for China virus? Yes? Dead? No? If you die, you will die of China virus.
Test positive for China virus? No? Dead? Yes? You died of China virus.
Test positive for China virus? No? Dead? No? If you die, you will die of China virus.
FUCKING THIS!!!
Hit by a bus? Driver had a cough? COVID 19 death! I suspect we will see a huge decline in normally occurring natural deaths as well
Presumed virus killed my goldfish
so im not ruling this out. but could the fall be because quarantine is working? we cant be leftists and let confirmation bias consume us

How come Wuhan Virus#s only goes up at the same time?
Because it began spreading shortly before the social distancing, and continues to spread because too many are ignoring it.
Looks like covid saves lives
Social distancing saved lives.
Influenza and COVID-19 spread the same way, and you can see how it limited the spread of influenza.

didnt think of this. it is odd that it started going down the first 8 weeks, when we didnt have a quarantine or social distancing.
Your right it's because the coronavirus is a scam hoax orchestrated by teh jooosss!

lmao, some of us agree with you, hang in there.
I also think it could be because corona is killing them off quicker.
Indeed. It couldn't be that they're all being moved over to the china plague column.

Very interesting historical info! TIL--thanks.

So did all the shootings in Shotcago. They just sprinkle a little covid on the deceased and claim violent crime is down.
We cured all non covid respiratory diseases! Wow. Amazing.
Low hanging fruit of the near dead got snapped up by the Kung Flu. However your reasoning is the right way to look at this "pandemic".
Surprise, surprise! Pandemic 101: count all possible cases.
Cause they're relabeling them as China Virus deaths.

I hate everyone who is connected to this shit, and hope one day they will see justice.
SWEET!

Dead? Flu like symptoms? Covid-19.
Just asking a question here but if 5000 elderly die of COVID-19, doesn't that mean that there are 5000 less people who could die from the common flu? I know some of you mean well but sometimes a dimwit is just a dimwit.

Because covid is the flu! SURPRISE!

interesting..
The easiest answer is that the lockdowns reduced the spread of these as well. Im sure DUIs, murder, and a number of other crap is down too.
Per an article I read yesterday, assaultive crimes are down, but burglary and auto theft is up. The exception was robberies were up in Mpls.
It ain't social distancing. I can promise you that.
I was wondering if anyone has tried to compare this season and last seasons flu and pneumonia deaths.
It’s in the pic.
I looked through the data from the image and it appears to be spot on--look into the data in the csv file from the cdc, and it's all right there, the graph is simply a plotting of the points from the data.
Looky here everyone: looks like soros finaly bought himself a new slavebot that shows just a little hint of humor.
u/white13, you are a good soros-bought sorosbot
2020? Try harder.
