I looked it up earlier. My TLDR: The (non-coronavirus) Ivermectin researchers seem to think Ivermectin shuts down a protein that bugs/lice/viruses (it's already a treatment for about 30 diseases) produce in order to blind our immune system so they can reproduce. Once our body can see the invader, it can kill it.
