People die. It's a part of life. It sucks for them and their families but unless we're talking 10s of millions dead this isn't worth it. Even 1 million is less than a third of one percent of the US population.

We're dealing with people who believe that Michael Bloomberg spending $500 million on the primary means he could've instead given over a million dollars to each of 330 million Americans.

In other words, they're not living in reality. They must see a figure like 400,000 dead and think that's 15% of the country or something.

Then there are the people who understand basic math but operate solely on emotion, so they disregard the statistics as insignificant.

The lack of understanding of context, of history, of the human condition...blame must be laid at decades of failure of our government schools.

99.99% of people don’t have it. Coincidentally, Purell kills 99.99% of germs and I trust it with my life

So the takeaway here is that you trust Wuflu with your life?

Yeah I’d rather take my chances and go on living life than give up my liberties. As Ben Franklin once said, “those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

I did the math on my iPhone calculator, and the result said this pandemic = bullshit! Try it with your phone calculator as well, the country is shutting down for .00015 of the population of 1 state, think about how retarded that concept is.

AND we don’t even know if covid19 is what they died from, if they tested positive before their death their death is attributed to covid-19 not the result of covid-19

So are you saying Trump is a loser for saying he asked the entire country to stay home?

SD_Pede with all due respect do you not understand that Trump is being forced into a position he clearly does not want to be in? He has to play this from a political perspective but we do not. I can't imagine the stress he is under.

The stay at home orders did not come from DJT. My Governor has not issued at "stay at home" order, but slightly modified the concept to a "safer at home" directive. That doesn't come from DJT either.

Read the President's actual statement, and see that it's a far cry from the current state of the Nation

It’s a little different, he has to play both sides, he is doing what the numbers say, not what he really wants to do, he has even said multiple times, we need to open the economy back up, people want to get back to work.
