I tend to chose paper because that's what I empty my garbage cans into. When I do chose plastic, I stuff it into another plastic bag filled with all the other scrunged up plastic bags haha. When that is full I throw it into the recycle bin for plastic bags that sits outside my local grocery store. To be honest, there is nothing wrong with plastic, but I prefer paper and reusable bags. I also don't believe in legislating it like the Democrats. I have a hypothesis that conservatives tend to chose paper over plastic and the reverse is true for Democrats (except for the extremely hardcore), but I have no proof since I have not tested this belief to yeild any concrete statistics and other measurements.
I use the paper for recycling as well. Small cans and plastic bottles I just chuck loose into the big recycling bin that one wheels out to the curb haha. If you mean small garbage cans, the platic bags do fit super nice.
