We just took our '68 Fastback for a cruise. Make no mistake, there were plenty of people out driving and walking. We even saw a group of older guys sitting in a parking lot talking. Cops are apparently just looking to fuck with businesses who violate the (illegal) orders.
This is strictly about crashing the economy; not about safety or anything. They do not want businesses doing business. Minneapolis parks board just closed all lakes and pools for THE WHOLE SUMMER. Imagine the audacity in telling people who have been locked up all winter that they need to stay inside basically for the next year. If the war starts, it'll start here.
The more days go by, the more clear it is - they want the ramifications of closing shop. They do not care about anything else.
Personally, I'd snort a line of this wimpy CHY-NAH virus if it meant people would shut the fuck up and get back to work. We can't afford to eat the shit sandwich they're preparing for us. I remember '08-'12. I won't do it again. I will not grovel for shitwork. Guerilla warfare is much more preferable. No hyperbole; I'd rather die than go back to those days.
I told my husband yesterday I’m done complying to this madness. We need people working, the economy humming again. Either 65% of the population gets this to provide true herd immunity or we live inside under the govt thumb forever.
I couldn't care less about herd immunity, even. We have to get back to work and take personal responsibility and precautions. Crashing the economy to prevent the deaths of handrail licking fucktards is not worth even considering, yet here we are.
